|
I'm sure it is simply because of his role in crafting the bailout. <---extreme sarcasm

3. I believe Barney Frank said something about |
|
cutting the defense budget by 25%. They are using that against us.

we have to cut defense spending.

|
by twenty-five percent.........you know, looking for overbilling ($60 for a lightbulb, or toilet paper, stuff like that)
And Palin and McCain are making it sound like Barney will weaken US security!!!

7. Hey, you never know what will happen if we buy cheaper toilet paper! |
|
This coming from the party that has spread our troops around too thin on wars that have nothing to do with US security, thereby weakening our security more than ever.

and a genuine liberal?--the archetypical cultural enemy of the Republican Party. No doubt he drinks latte and drives a Volvo too.

8. I think he is one of the people |
|
that Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity bloviate and demonize over. My wingnut MIL went on a big rant on how Barney Frank belongs in prison and is a traitor. She was quite vehement--maybe they even had an article in the National Review, I don't know. But it was very odd considering she lives in Florida and hasn't been to Vermont in 40 years.

13. It is the Republicans' typical tactic |
|
Railing against Democrats for taxes and defense issues. The difference is that usually the people using the attacks are much more skilled than these two political hacks. They are the least skilled politicians I have experienced in a while. Plus, the economy has to be at least halfway decent for that crap to work. Just more desperation from the dynamic douches.

I bet half the people who are booing when McCain says his name have no clue who he is. It really bothers me that McCain used his name in this way.

Hopefully some around here are getting familiar with GOOPspeak...reading between the lines to REALLY understand what they say. Be it Reverend Wright as the scary black man or illegal "alien" as the unwashed hordes of those spanish speakers to mentions of San Francisco and Barney as meaning "teh gay".
Yep, she's really fearful that her knocked up daughter's future marriage will be ruined by "teh gay".
