This was in Dupage, County, IL, where Tammy Duckworth lost last November to Peter Roskam in the IL 6th.

We gathered in park for a few speeches from former Congressional Candidate Christine Cegelis, a man who lost his grandson in Iraq, and others.

I would guess a couple hundred showed up and at least one local news van was there.

4. We then demonstrated on the street outside Roskams office for an hour

I held "N" in a series of signs that spelled "BRING THE TROOPS HOME"

I moved in 1981 to horrid southern calif , used to like in chicago then moved to schaumberg but it was nothing much in 1981 now it's a mad house .

I love seeing all these ordinary people out protesting, and isn't it great when you get support from the people driving by? I think we've really turned a corner.
