I just looked down at my shirt and realized I've had that thing on all day.

2. Dad is, and I don't know who he voted for..
Mom won't tell me either... I know he voted for Schaeffer because it was on his voting list, but left McCain/Obama blank. Schaeffer has 0% chance of winning here anyway.

5. Yes
I am a big geek. I love having my sticker.

Then I put them on my monitor.

I still have my "I Voted" from Palm Beach County from 2000.

13. Goofy?
I wear mine proudly...while I'm still wearing my clothes. I stayed home today, so no shirt. It is still on my jacket though. I'll wear it one more time when I go out then put it on my computer case with the others. I save them. I have some on my guitar cases, but they tend to come off the guitar cases in time. Now, I put them on the computer case.

Though, I've only been there a few times and get intimidated in line because I never know how or what to order, LOL!

I've never missed an election and ALWAYS wear my sticker. Forty-four years of voting. Perfect record.

35. Not enough posts to start my own
Hello everyone. This seemed the most appropriate place to put this.

My username should tell my tale. Three weeks ago I turned thirty-seven years old and today I voted for the very first time in my life. I registered for the purpose of this post.

I can only speak for myself. I pride myself on being anti-political, long considering the Republican and Democratic parties to be equal parts of the same problem and refusing to play their games in any way shape or form. I avoid all political conversations. I change the channel when they start talking about it on television. I have never had an American flag displayed anywhere I lived, not for lack of love of country, but for lack of admiration for its leaders and how they chose to present us to the world. When I first saw President Obama, I considered him nothing but a desperate stunt by a dying nation.

I would like to present myself as proof that President Obama’s message and that of the Democratic party as a whole has reached even people like me: People who until now were “anti-Americans”, whatever the hell that means. In the simplest possible terms, I have been given a sense of hope that has never before been afforded me. The man has made me feel like I am considered one of the people again, whereas before I was a mere nine numbers and nothing more.

I also have people like you to thank for that. People like you who never gave up on people like me. You got me to listen, and you got me to care. For that, you have my deepest gratitude.

Today I marked my first ever ballot and yes, I AM still wearing the “I voted today” sticker. I feel a very strange and new sensation. Perhaps it is pride in my country and my President. I believe that it is.

Thank you once again.

Had it on my suit lapel all day. It was a long day and I just got home a few minutes ago.

Proudly wore it all day long.
