NO YOU CAN'T appoint right-wing justices to the courts

NO YOU CAN'T hire federal employees to nonpolitical appointments based solely on their willingness to support the Republican cause

NO YOU CAN'T throw people in dungeons for years on no charges whatsoever

NO YOU CAN'T hire unqualified cronies to important government positions

NO YOU CAN'T run up the federal deficit

NO YOU CAN'T have companies like ENRON help set the country's energy policies in meetings hidden from the public

NO YOU CAN'T ignore Congressional subpoenas

NO YOU CAN'T stop stem cell research

NO YOU CAN'T impede action to reduce global warming

NO YOU CAN'T hide from justice

2. There is one thing they can do:

I'm not in a mood for makin' up just yet. When I saw the theft of those ballots in FL in 2000 and heard the cries of "Get over it" every year since, hell, no ain't fergittin'. As ugly as they've been today, some of the emails I've been "graced" with, I don't feel any compunction. Yet. They want a fight? C'mon. I doubt they'll make it out of mama's basement.
