Youth leader arrested

PASCAGOULA, Miss. - A former youth leader at a church in the St. Martin community has been returned to Mississippi on a warrant accusing him of molesting several girls.

Jackson County Sheriff Mike Byrd said Roy Steven Wesley was arrested in Marietta, Ga., earlier this and was returned on Friday to face the felony molestation charge.

Byrd said the molestation allegedly occurred in 2005 at the church in the St. Martin community. The sheriff did not identify the church where Wesley once served.

just as being a coach, teacher, etc--they are all jobs where they are in authority and around the kids they wish to molest--and they can hide behind the cloak of respectability of the job description to get away with it--at least until recently.

but the question remains. It's not often one hears of Bhuddists, Hindus, or Muslims doing what so-called Christian males do to/with their altar boys. Rabbis in synagogues seem to increasingly share this peculiar form of worship as well, of late. Yes, it may seem at first blush to be a a broad-brush-smear, but if the cassock fits...

Maybe this is just the tip of the ice berg
