Valerie Plame spoke up but was not heard because the same old lies about her are being recycled in the lapdog press, a bunch of ninnies are concentrating on some Code Pink thing instead of what Plame had to say, the war in Iraq is still blowing hundreds of people up whether it be women, children, shopkeepers or our soldiers, we had a Pentagon protest this week hardly picked up by the Press ~ AGAIN, Richard Perle and Delay are on MTP for what reason I cannot imagine except to use Timeh again to cover up their pink asses, the stock market took a big dive, everybody is in a kerfluffle about Gonazales when they should have been the moment he was appointed, an Al Qaida leader at Guantanimo Bay confessed under torture he was the mastermind for 9/11 that he killed Daniel Pearle even though the freaking movie made while killing him shows entirely someone else doing it and (gasp) he also tried to assassinate the pope, the housing bubble is bursting, an unseasonably cold weather front froze the Midwest and the East Coast, and my oven element went out, which is a tragedy for a baker and a good cook ~ anything else?

... where Clear Skies are only getting murkier, Healthy Forests are mowing down old growth even faster, Leave No Child Behind leaves children with no behind by the millions, Iraq is doing fantastically while people are being blown up, Afghanistan is democratized even though even the president of this country does not dare leave his palace, in spite of the Geneva conventions which have saved our own soldier's asses in other wars, we are now torturing people even though it doesn't even work, poor people are all working so they cannot be poor anymore even though the poverty level is rising, homelessness is too ~ don't even count all the foreclosures who will drive even more families to the street, and more people voted in American Idol than they do for their legislative body and the president.

What is WRONG with this picture?

I want to emphasize for others reading this a point you made: "everybody is in a kerfluffle about Gonazales when they should have been the moment he was appointed". A day late and a dollar short doesn't even begin to address this situation. Of course I'm biased because you used the word 'kerfluffle'. It's a favorite of mine. :D
