Prediction: Gonzales gone by the end of the week.
The AG has now apologized to the 93 attorneys in a conference call. On Tuesday the White House will "announce" whether they will let members of the White House staff testify.

Gonzales will be gone to take the heat off the WH and to prevent testifying. Or attempt to.

1. i doubt it
a honorable man would have stepped down. BUT $hrub has gotten rid of all the honorable people in his second term.

Honestly I don't think he's gone until shrub says he's doin a heckofa job. We all expect these things, stepping down, impeachment, anything honorable. These people just don't live in our world. Look at the economic policies. Look at everything gonzo has done. I don't see him stepping down, or being fired until it's too late.

Honestly in time would have been this weekend, but after Monday, it will be too late. Thankfully the White house has no common sense.

5. * ALWAYS fires his incompetent partners in crime
when the heat gets turned up real high. At this point, it's impossible to find ANY Republics who openly support Gonzo. I listened to all the morning talk shows, and there wasn't one Republic who had a good thing to say about Gonzo. Not even George Will. GEORGE WILL! That's a litmus test, if I ever saw one, for how long Gonzo will last. Even Dumsfeld had a few Republic cheerleaders before he got the boot.

I predict Gonzo is gone before the week is out.

3. I do not expect Gonzales to step down so soon.
He will hang in there until the heat gets too hot for Bush who will then persuade him to resign. Look at how long it took to get Rumsfeld to resign. In my opinion Bush will get tired of all the heat and will want to make his last year in office easier.

4. More Gonzo is good for us.
He's yet another a big fat beacon of republican corruption.
Same goes for Rove Cheney and the rest of the admin.
If the GOP had any smarts, they'd be demanding that Bush clean house.
They are so blowing any chance they have of winning any election for a long time to come.
It's beautiful and it's hilarious.

Yeah, the negative press is good, BUT... as long as this maniac is in his position of power, he can continue to fuck up the process across the country. I know we need the neg publicity but he's also a cancer.
