Sok a sérült, de nem közöltek hivatalos számadatot.A szerencsétlenség az ország második legnagyobb városának, Aleppónak egy munkásnegyedében történt szombat este. Damascus: At least four people were killed after an aprtment building collapsed in a working class district of the northern Syrian city of Aleppo, police said on Sunday.

Bodies of the four men were pulled from under the rubble of the building, which collapsed late Saturday in Aleppo, 355 kilometres northwest of the capital, Damascus, police said.

Rescuers were combing through the rubble on Sunday to try to find people who may still be trapped.

The building, which contained 20 apartments, was flattened to the ground, witnesses said.
