More photos Anti-War March, Hollywood -dail up warning

We took out the Bush Puppet again yesterday for the Anti-War March in Hollywood. Local News reported 7,000 people. Whatever it was it was great turn out with lots of energy. We'll post more photos and links to other photo galleries in the California forum here:

Hey devilgrrl, we was wondering if we would run into you.

Actually if you look at the picture DSC02391.jpg, the one with the McDonald's arch in the background you can see a few on the left side of the photograph. We stopped and turned the Bush puppet towards them so they could get a good look.

They were looking very overwhelmed and dispirited.

5. Lots of skin and color

Global warming eh. But we got a summer of oppressive heat and firestorms to look forward. We're in a drought.

It was eighty six even in Northern California yesterday. But your pics from Anchorage were beautiful with the snow. It looks so exotic to me. I had to laugh when you said that it was probably "above freezing" because there was runoff in the street. And the crowds you had! Wow. I was impressed!:)

7. If you had lived through the last month

we've had here, you could appreciate my elation at seeing actual wet water in the street. We "were" on track for having the coldest March on record in Anchorage, but it is a little more temperate the last couple of days, so maybe we'll be out of the deep freeze soon. It's an almost balmy 23 today. :)

I used to live in California back in the early '70s and it seems to me like it used to be green this time of year. Am I remembering wrong?
