A funny Joe the Plumber story of how a McCain/Joe the Plumber PR stunt went wrong
Earlier in the day, at a rally in Defiance, Ohio, McCain thought that Wurzelbacher (Joe) was supposed to be in the crowd, and called for him to stand up, resulting in a silence. McCain ended the silence by telling the whole crowd to stand up instead, stating "You're all Joe the Plumber."

Whoops! Too much reliance on Joe there, right, McCain? Your campaign didn't need a plumber, it needed FEMA.

2. Phony prick, phony campaign
Most of the American people are not that stupid but McLame thought they were. I guess he figured we wouldn't notice that his attacks were based on half truths, falsehoods with a foundation of outright lies.
