What do you guys think? I still think it is inevitable as long as Bush is in office...even some Dems would probably do it, but if we threw Bush to the curb it would send a powerful message to the war mongers. I believe that Bush will launch the war right before he leaves office and leave it for a Democrat.

3. I think Bush will keep poking at Iran and try to get them to start something |
|
Whether we invade will depend on whether or not Iran takes the bait.

took the Iran clause of the budget bill out, which would have mandated that Bush go through congres before any attack. The only way this bill had a way of passing was if it was passed with a spending bill. Pelosi knew this and pulled it anyway. I think this is very telling of our DC politicians. If Bush attacked Iran, I think many Democrats would find some way to justify and continue it. Can't cut and run you know..

I don't think they will wait until 2008 elections either , not the way things are going right now .
I hear and read all sorts of opinions about this . Who really knows , I wish I could predict the future .
All I know is they do have the carrier groups there and were setting up air bases .
For all we know since we are told little and they are not going to advertize the date to warn Iran ahead of time .
