This Means WAR With Move America Forward ORG
Move America Forward (MAF) is the nation's largest grassroots pro-troop organization. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving our American heritage of freedom and liberty. MAF was formed in early 2004 by The Honorable Howard Kaloogian and acclaimed radio and television personality, Melanie Morgan (KSFO 560 AM -- San Francisco).

In the effort to support our troops and their missions to fight terrorism, Move America Forward has battled against the likes of MoveOn.org, Michael Moore, Cindy Sheehan, the liberal mainstream media and the "Blame America First" crowd that constantly undermines American security in the fight against terrorism.

Among the many accomplishments of Move America Forward to date:

Sponsored the "Gold Star Parents to Iraq" trip in which parents of U.S. soldiers killed in the war could see first hand the country where their sons sacrificed their lives. These parents toured Saddam's concentration camps and prisons, conferred with government officials, met with U.S. military men and women stationed in Iraq and visited with some of the people of Iraq face to face. These Gold Star Parents are outspoken supporters of the mission our men and women are serving in Iraq.

Launched the "Coffee, Cookies, Gatorade, and Beef Jerky for Our Troops" program in partnership with premium coffee roaster, Art's Coffee, Cornerstone Coffee, Cookie Club of America and House of Jerky. To date we've sent over 20 tons of premium fresh ground coffee, cookies, beef jerky, and Gatorade to our troops serving in Iraq & Afghanistan. The treats include a personal message of support from a sponsoring family back home.

Began the petition drive asking Congress to Censure former president Jimmy Carter for his continued support of terrorist organizations like Hamas and his appalling support of Marxist dictators like Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro. Jimmy Carter's offensive conduct has continuously undermined our troops and U.S. efforts to defeat terrorism.

Broadcasted dozens of television and radio commercials throughout the nation advocating support for our troops serving heroically in Iraq and Afghanistan and the fight against terrorism. We have not hesitated to speak out against those who undermine our brave men and women overseas. More than 100 million Americans have seen our ads.

Launched the "You Don't Speak for Me Cindy" caravan tour and became the largest voice countering that of anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan. We led two cross-country tours and held "Support Our Troops" rallies in dozens of cities nationwide. The most prominent rallies were held in Crawford, Texas and Washington D.C. in which thousands of supporters came to show their support for our brave men and women as well as their disapproval of Cindy Sheehan's "blame America first" rhetoric.

Worked in conjunction with RighTalk Radio to lead the "Voices of Soldiers" Truth Tour - with Move America Forward's Co-Chairs (Howard Kaloogian & Melanie Morgan) and MAF Board Member Buzz Patterson leading a delegation of radio talk show hosts to Iraq. The talk show hosts interviewed of soldiers, providing a forum for them to tell the American people about the accomplishments they are making in Operation Iraqi Freedom and the fight against terrorism.

Collected and sent $2.8 Million worth of pharmaceutical supplies to Afghanistan & Iraq.

We're proud of the success we've had in fighting to make America an even greater nation. Unlike those who only see a future of failure for this country, we see a future where freedom and liberty create endless opportunities for Americans and our friends and allies in a more secure world.

I watched C-Span this morning, and saw their press conference which made me extremely angry,
'pissed'.
These 'gold star' mothers such as Debra Argel, what are they thinking?
Their sons were killed in Iraq for what? What reason, they dont have one, they spew patriotic
phrases and flag waving crap, but call the people who want to bring the troops home unpatriotic
and un American.
I was disgusted watching all of them speak this morning, they were all bashing Cindy Sheehan,
Nancy Pelosi and others.
Our military is supposed to protect and defend the US, not invade other Countries based on lies
and deception.
It is time to declare 'war' on these people, time to get out of Iraq now.

1. Why aren't they complaining about the troops being undequipped and overdeployed?
Or about their poor medical treatment and slow paychecks? And why the mercenaries are earning ten times more?

5. Must be the same 30% who are 'proud of the war'! I can't even get my brain around that.
http://www.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/03/19/poll.anti.war/index.html

"Similarly, 30 percent of those polled this month said they were proud of the war, as opposed to 65 percent who expressed that sentiment in 2003."

7. This is a vulture organization.
Imagine a grief-sticken father, a heart-broken mother, they are so distraught emotionally that it is easy for a group to swoop in and coo, "Your son died for democracy. He died helping people achieve freedom."

All people want to believe this, especially those who are suffering. Because if they were to accept the truth, that their child was sacrificed, then they would become Mencken's Most Dangerous Man:

"The most dangerous man, to any government, is the man who Is able to think things out for himself, without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost invariably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane and intolerable, and so, if he is romantic, he tries to change it. And if he is not romantic personally, he is apt to spread discontent among those who are."

Sadly, it is always easier and more comforting to accept the lies then acknowledge the truth.

9. Democracy
Any soldier dying is hard to deal with, but imagine dying for a lie and a deception.
Like I said before the military is for our defense of THIS Country, America
NOT to defend another country or be caught in the middle of a civil war that was
started by illegaly invading Iraq.

These people have blind folds on

They do not speak for us, or America, they speak for the right wing ignorants.

13. It seems to me the troops would appreciate 20 tons of body armor
a little more than 20 tons on gatoraide.

Since when is the military allowing civilians to be flown into Iraq for PR tours? Any idea what the blowback would be if one of those Gold Star families got blown up?

Could it be they are flying into Kuwait and being told it's Iraq, shown a Potemkin Village of Saddam nastiness? That would be the safe way to do it.

15. so they only thing they have actually done for the troops, to support the troops
is sent gatorade, beef jerky, and coffee. Big fucking deal.

Looks like "support the troops" in name only.

Can't believe this shit.

"We attacked Jimmy Carter, for the troops."

"We air a couple commercials here, for the troops"

"We send parents on propaganda tours in Iraq, for the troops"

"We provide right wing propaganda to soldiers to brainwash them, for the troops"
