Tony Snow gives Alberto the kiss of death
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Amid bipartisan calls for Attorney General Alberto Gonzales' resignation in a scandal over dismissals of eight federal prosecutors, the White House said Monday, "We hope he stays."

When asked if Gonzales will serve for the rest of President Bush's term, White House press secretary Tony Snow said, "Well, we hope so."

7. So what's the over/under on Gonzo being gone-zo?
I'd like to pick Thursday or earlier if the dems give the WH shit for refusing to testify in the attorney-gate scandal. Gonzo might hope to take all of the blame with him.

13. Translation: We won't fire him. He'll resign "voluntarily".

Anyone who believes that "voluntarily" part, raise your hand.

14. The other day he also said
that Gonzo had the pResidents confidence too. That was the kiss of death for Rummy. Seems he has been kissed now on both cheeks ... and we all know what that means! ;)
