is anyone aware of any organizations that accept donations of used prosthetic limbs?

my uncle recently passed away, and my aunt wants to donate his prosthetic right arm. he was a farmer, and had his arm taken off by a corn picker(combine?). i was told by someone that it's illegal to re-use them in the u.s., but i would think that there might be an international organization...or at least the mechanicals could be refitted to another prosthesis...
