I see now the problem with Olbermann's new glasses
I'm watching Countdown from last Thursday. Now I onderstand a DUer's happiness that Keith changed back to his regular glasses on Friday. Thursday's spectacles don't look that good.

Thank God it dosn't affect the content! Great suit and tie, though.

1. Yep. I prefer the older glasses too. Can see more of his face with them. :^D

2. I like the dark frames. They make him look very distinguished.
JMCPO.:7

The rimless do look good on him too, but I like the dark frames better.:hi:

3. I thought they looked a bit feminine for some reason
a little butterfly-shaped.

Shouldn't mess with sucess, and all that stuff. I personally love the old-school look KO has.

4. They looked like rectangles to me. Dark frames are 'the look' these days.
Sometimes it's fun just to have a 'new' look. Maybe his new girlfriend had some input on the 'new' look...being 23 years old and all.;)

He looks GREAT no matter what he wears. He's a very handsome man. Strong chin, salt and pepper hair, a great smile.....and lotsa brains! Not to mention his LIBERAL values!:loveya:

5. Yes, Olbermann is very good looking.
But I hope what I am about to say will not upset anyone. He doesn't look that good without his studio make-up on. I was watching Countdown one evening, and they showed Keith without the makeup chating with co-workers in the studio hallway and I almost didn't recognize him. Don't get me wrong, he's still very good looking and all but imo, the makeup helps. :)

6. Olbermann is not 23 anymore.
He should leave the wearing of "emo glasses" to his girlfriend. They just make him look old.

7. Too heavy
The new glasses were too heavy. He has the same coloring as my spouse, silver hair with an olive complexion. We recently went shopping for new frames, and the dark plastics were too heavy, distracted from his pretty eyes and contrasted too much with his silver hair. He ended up staying with a dark-colored wire frame.

9. I think I've unearthed a new cause for a flamewar!
Damn, I'm good. I should get an award or sumptin.

Maybe a new color code on the Lounge Flame Bait Alert System.

I'd like... a darkish, earthy blue. With brushstrokes.

10. 7pm time slot?
a couple of weeks ago there was a posting about KO being switched to a 7pm(et) time slot

if true, when is it suppose to happen?

I go to bed at stupid o'clock and get up in the morning at insane o'clock. VCR is somewhat broken - won't record and at this point we don't want to buy a new one... looking at DVD recorder/player for the TV for sometime in the near future
