Does anyone who have a family member or friend who has been over there who has spoken of any of them. When I hear the republiCONS say that its not that bad and that there are a lot of good things happening over there I perk up my ears for the list...the most I have heard is that they are giving children candy and that they have built schools or hospitals. What good are the schools if they are blown up or the hospitals if all of the doctors are leaving and people are being murdered in the waiting rooms.

2. I've heard about lots of schools being built.
Does each Iraqi child get his or her own school house?

4. we have made a ton of progress rebuilding schools and hospitals, restoring water and electricity
problem is, we are the reason the schools and hospitals were destroyed in the first place. And we are the reason there were problems with the water, and no electricity.

So, the only real "good news" is that we are starting to fix what we broke.

I saw them showing some schools in the past, but they haven't been back to show us how good it is going...

5. Conservatives should vacation in Baghdad if its so fucking nice
Easy for cowardly chickenhawks who get their facts from right wing hate radio to blather on about how good things are. Things were much better for Iraqis under Hussein vs the brilliant compassion they now receive from republican "leadership."

8. They do, in the green zone...
and then they come back and tell us it is all good. Don't they realize that the Iraqis can see that they have electricity and water.
