has there ever been any actual study?
Marking the fourth anniversary of the Iraq war, President George W. Bush warned skeptical Americans on Monday that a swift troop withdrawal would have "devastating" consequences for U.S. security.

Boy it's been what 4 years now of hearing this line. You'd think the President might have commisioned some type of actual study of what the real consequences to the US of an Iraqi pull out are. Clearly the US president thinks your stupid and don't deserve actual facts to do what he says.

1. Where was he when U.S. security took a massive hit in the Plame leak?
Oh yea, I almost forgot he really doesn't give a shit about national security. :sarcasm:

2. The actual study shows that the Iraq occupation is creating more & stronger terrorists.
I forget what it was called- the "Iraq Intelligence Estimate", maybe?

I'm sure some DUer will be along with a link to it within a few minutes.

3. Wait the facts are the opposite
of what our President says? Well certainly we can rely on our trusted press to correct him. I mean I'm sure our press would read such reports if they existed.

4. Yes
There was a study, it is called history, and history describes such things as an overwhelming sense of peace breaking out as troops are removed.

Of course, you must remind yourself that peace, to bushco, would be a disaster.

5. It's the ideology of a back-stabber.
"If I pull the knife out, he'll bleed to death." (Nevermind the fact that bleeding to death has become inevitable - just delay it until he escapes.)
