Santorum joins law firm
http://www.postgazette.com/pg/07078/770725-100.stm

"Former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum has joined Downtown law firm Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott, LLC in its Washington, D.C., office to provide business and strategic counseling services to the firm's clients.

Mr. Santorum, a conservative Republican who lost his re-election bid Democrat Bob Casey in November, has been working as a professional speaker. He served 12 years as a senator and four years in the U.S. House of Representatives before that.

Mr. Santorum has a bachelor's degree from Penn State, a master's in business administration from the University of Pittsburgh and a law degree from Dickinson School of Law."

But Ricky! I thought those evil lawyers were the cause of all of Amurika's problems?

Oh well. At least my tax dollars won't be paying his salary.

3. Yep!
From "blood-sucking Senator", to "blood-sucking lobbyist" in two seconds flat.

2. Doesn't sound like he joined as a partner...
smart move for the law firm. He is probably "of counsel" and has to meet certain income goals and can be booted at will. He is a lobbist and he better register as such.
