Q for the Greenie-leaners....?
What are you doing about the Iditarod and the Seal Hunt ? And "Factory Farms" ?

I thought so.

1. I do not patronize any sort of Factory Farms...and I pay more for my food as a result
The Iditarod is a minor issue, IMHO. Yes, it's cruel, but many things are, and all things considered, I don't have time to worry about it.

The seal hunt? Again, not on my top ten list of Problems We Really Have To Deal With Yesterday. See above.

BTW, what is your point?

2. I think it was "Neener Neener Neener"
Or possibly "Talk to the hand"

Hard to tell these days.

6. Why not?
Animal abuse is cruel, especially when done for "sport" ? Or "clothing" ?

12. Meh.
I'm in full-on triage mode as far as my time and resources goes. Once I don't have to worry about mass extinctions anymore, then maybe I'll have time to worry about the abuse of individual animals. I don't patronize or support any enterprises that engage in animal abuse, and support laws that discourage it, but beyond that, I think we all have bigger things to deal with for the time being.

Your flamebait is barely a flicker as far as I'm concerned.

8. Flamebait for animal welfare?
I don't think so. Just trying to find out what my *friends* over at Greenpeace are doing while musher dogs and baby seals are perishing.

9. I for one have been fighting the seal hunt since the mid 1970's
so my conscious is clear. It just seems from your OP that you are spoiling for an arguement, perhaps I misunderstood?

10. I too often wonder what the Green party and other orgs are up to
Orgs like Greenpeace, or locally, www.clearwater.org (My boy Pete Seeger's not for profit. They rule!) I love folks that fight for what is right.

Some day, I hope, it will truly take a nation of millions to hold us back!

14. To be fair...75 million registered voters
stayed home in 2000 and 2004. Who knows how the results would have turned out if we reached out to the compassionate wing of our party?

Clubbing baby seals and mushing dogs to their deaths (both on the trails and off, slow dogs are losers!), for profit, is so Republician, don't you think?

My Q for the Greens is not flamebait :grouphug:

20. I gave up on Green, went PETA, gave up on
them, went Democratic. My point...and I hope some of you are still with me....Greens/PETAs/ELFs/ALFs....are very apathetic towards Dems. They stay home on election day.

How do we bring them home?
