Fox News: “4 Years Later: Iraqis ‘Thanking’ America”

Today on his Fox News show, host Neil Cavuto did a segment on “something you are not hearing” — how many Iraqis are “thanking” the United States for “liberating” Iraq:

Cavuto’s segment and his guests do not represent the majority of Iraqis. According to a new BBC/ABC News poll, just 18 percent of Iraqis now have confidence in the U.S.-led coalition troops and nearly 90 percent “say they live in fear that the violence ravaging their country will strike themselves and the people with whom they live.” Other poll highlights:

6. And therein lies the problem; who's polling and what slant are they
giving the poll. Makes me much more skeptical of any poll now.

4. Yes, bottled up rage is now free to flow
So thank you, America, for finally allowing us to take revenge on Saddam's minority supporters. Now we can really get the slaughter underway in earnest. Also, big bouquets and thank yous from the sectarian supremacists in Al Qaeda and other groups that use religion to pursue their terroristic ways; Saddam kept them out of Iraq and minimized their influence on society for decades after Iran had been overrun by jihadists.

Or isn't Cavuto being quite that precise as to who's "thanking" us?

7. The level of propaganda in America never ceases to amaze me
The corporate media will say ANYTHING and a sizable percentage of the sheeple will believe them.

After 20+ years of this, I don't see much hope for this country.

13. Many Kurds are still happy about the invasion
They still believe they will get their own country which is why they helped us invade Iraq. Perhaps these Iraqis fauxnews is talking about are the deluded Kurds.
