Could we compile a list of names of those that got a little to close to the Bush Family Fire and were scorched for having done so?
Apparently, Tony chose not to see the rough-shod way that the man who had his job before him was treated. It seems that Mr. Snow's ambition blinded him as he entered the White House to the ambulance parked out front that was about to carry poor Scott McClellan's reputation over to Walter Reed.
One would think that Tony Snow would have figured out by now that the next worse thing to being an enemy of the Bush Crime Family is actually having been a friend and associate of them. Indeed, one would think that Mr. Snow might contemplate the fate of his predecessor, Mr. McClellend who was fed lies by George W. Bush and Karl Rove and who dutifully relayed those lies to the public on their behalf. Today Scott McClellan is out of a job and thoroughly an "untouchable" within Republican circles.
Perhaps the current White House Spokesman might look at the graveyard of those who were once close associates of our current President or his father, consider the consequences of those who once foolishly thought the Bushes were honorable people and provided their services or loyalty to them, and then to ponder his own precarious status as the Bush vocal chord to the world.
Maybe someone should have told poor Tony that when they asked him to be Bush' mouthpiece, they really meant he'd be his codpiece.
Anyway, Tony might look at some of the following names of the poor souls who once worked in various capacities for the Bush Cabal and wonder how long before his name is etched on a tombstone in the Bush graveyard of ruined reputations and careers. And Tony was such a bright looking man...
Would you drop a name of former employees, associates and friends of the Bushes for poor Tony here so that he might consider his own fate?
Here's a few to get started:
Harriet Miers Manuel Noriega, Saddam Hussein Paul O'Neil John O'Neil Richard Clark Scott McClellan
