When I came back into the room with tv and watched his face. I was more convinced. But if you just listen to him he sounds weak. I am not sure why.

1. he was stumbling a bit on the question
about gays in the military and whether homosexuality was immoral. He was good on Iraq though. hey, he's only human, he can't be the best speaker all the time.

2. I thought his answer on homosexuality being immoral was good.
"I don't find it anymore immoral than heterosexuality," or something to that effect, but I wasn't paying too much attention to what other things he said.

3. A good answer???
What kind of an answer is that? Why not just say "NO".....So now is he saying heterosexuality is immoral?

I don't get this new Barack. I just don't get him.

18. Gee, I wonder why they would be doing that?
Does the logo tell you anything, or is that just a ruse? ;-)

13. Not A Bad One.
He's saying that the immorality may be in the sexuality itself between anyone, depending on one's beliefs, but not dependent on sexual orientation. I don't see anything wrong with it being said that way to be honest.

14. You're reading too much into what he said. What he said was rather straightforward.
Edited on Mon Mar-19-07 11:45 PM by Selatius
He simply used a lot of words, but the point was that he didn't find homosexuality unnatural, and I seriously doubt he is implying heterosexuality is immoral either.

9. good answer...
...not only did Obama make it obvious he didn't think homosexuality was immoral, he presented it in a thought provoking way that might challenge some to realize that heterosexuals are not any moral. Brilliant!

5. I listened many times to Obama...
When he does his speeches he is excellent. They are written, probably by him, and he knows his lines. However, when he speaks off the cuff, from questions, he has pauses and ah's constantly. He gets his points across, but he needs to work on his delivery. Its like he has to think about what to say, with all the pauses. He needs to work on that!

7. I didn't see this interview but
why can't people just answer the "is homosexuality immoral" question with a simple yes or no?

Someone that can't answer with a yes or no, on that issue or others, is not someone I really want to vote for.

Why play all these silly little political games and try to dodge the answer with some BS response?

The 'Hil' did the same thing.

8. People who watched the Kennedy-Nixon debate said JFK won by a slim margin. But on radio...
respondents tended to say that Nixon won the debate. Besides having a face for radio, Nixon also had a voice for radio. For whatever it's worth, we live in a visual age and Obama gives great face.
