I'm not surprised that these cartoons about the US Attorneys Scandal were made,
but the first one was the only one I found bothersome:

1. The Cartoons are accurate and inaccurate...
Yes, Clinton fired all 93 when he took over office but not upon starting his second term.

They count on Americans not knowing historical and statistical facts.

More misinformation.

and misleading. Every time a new president comes in from another party, he gets rid of ALL the people there and starts over with new ones, including US attorneys (unless he's satisfied that one or another of them isn't a dyed-in-wool follower of the president who is stepping down). That's what they do. But then they don't usually replace the ones they've chosen unless they are grossly incompetent. Those eight attorneys were nowhere near incompetent...just TOO competent for this crooked president.

7. Even your explanation is very weak

Sorry, no disrespect. I know what you're saying, as do all inquisitive, learned and intelligent DUers. But it still sounds kinds of wishy-washy, or half baked. They "don't usually replace them" sounds like, "so what?" to the ears of a freeper. So what...I don't usually change my oil at 3000 miles. Or, I don't usually get shitfaced drunk on Thursday night. But it's been known to happen, so get over it.

It is much more serious than "not usually." Or even the "grossly incompetent" angle. But to get beyond that, we as DUers will have to first be willing to admit that Bill Clinton tried to do a mini-purge, too. He caught hell for it, and rightfully so. That is one part of this the freepers and Certifiable Underground dwellers can't seem to grasp; while Bill tried a mini version of a Saturday Night Massacre, the reasons for doing so were purely personal. Does it make them right? Of course not. No one is claiming that. Nor is anyone (except the freepers) claiming Bill Clinton is somehow the standard bearer for the presidency for all time. Like your mama said, "If Bill Clinton jumped off the Golden Gate bridge, would you jump off, too?"

Right wingers, Bushistas, freepers, CUers, anti-Constitutionalists, fucking morans -- call 'em what you will -- they aren't going to "get it" until we can make it clear that what BushCo did is not normal, and transcends all personal considerations. IOW, even if you buy the Clinton = Bush bullshit, you cannot explain away the e-mails, the memos, the involvement of Rove and Gonzo...you can't explain it away with a simple "all presidents do it," or even the more egregious "Clinton did it." This is nothing like that. The pattern, when woven into the general fabric of everything BushCo has done, is painfully obvious to anyone with the reasoning skills beyond that of a bag of microwave popcorn; this was a purge of people who would not toe the BushCo line. Period. This just doesn't happen in mid-term, at the behest of a political strategist for the POTUS. It doesn't. It was part of a long-term "plot" contrived in part by Karl to create a permanent Republican majority. IOW, it was purely POLITICAL and as such, purely anti-constitutional.

Shall we even bring up the subject of Alberto Gonzales lying under oath about the entire sordid affair? Nahhh...that's an inconvenient truth.

3. This is no surprise
Authorities who pervert justice are a dime a dozen, to anybody who knows their history. Remember J. Edgar Hoover? Remember Reagan and Iran Contra. Remember Jim Garrison?

The funny thing, all these lawbreakers are called heroes, until history catches up to them.
