1. How many Congresspersons are calling for this?
Not that many.

Call your Congressperson, first.

5. I can think of much much worse.
I would have to say that it is ignorance of history will make Bush the worst president.

A terrible president, sure. But the worst?

Compared to Lincoln, Wilson, or Reagan, George W. Bush was just a loser, a total failure, a sad disgrace: never the worst.

7. Bullshit.
Bush shredded the Constitution. Spied on Americans. Outed a Covert CIA Agent during a time of war. Started a war based on lies.

Bush has the blood of over 4,000 innocent troops on his hands.

He wrecked the economy. Created the biggest deficit ever.

He failed to protect us from the worst terrorist attack ever, despite repeated warnings prior to the event.

Lincoln, Wilson, and Reagan may have been responsible for bad things, but not in this quantity, and not of this severity.

George Bush will without question be the worst President ever. And by a long shot.

11. You may want to review history.
Lincoln pressured newspapers into closing, imprisoned their editors, and intimidated reporters into telling lies to the American people. He was also responsible for the razing of entire American cities.

Wilson sold out the country to bankers to get elected and then led us into WWI

Reagan led clandestine military operations, providing weapons to opposing sides and encouraged a war that cost millions of lives, all the time lying to the American people about it and funneling tax dollars into weapons programs to fight an enemy that he knew we would never actually do battle with.

15. STILL...not as bad as Bush.
And we don't even know the half of it yet.

Really, time will tell the whole story.

4. No
There will be no Impeachments nor will there be any accountability what-so-ever. They will get off completely free and much much wealthier and so will all their cronies..Democrats do not want any confrontations at the moment. They are still quite terrified from their '94 humiliation and don't want to risk their new found popularity. Maybe in a few years they may offer regrets for why they did not persue the criminals but it won't matter then..Precident will have been established. A new Republican President can once again begin torture as US policy and not expect to be called on it.

6. You take the offers given you, and accept that you are
Heading a Congressional body inside a Banana Republic and you continue YOUR life as before, except with more goodies.

All is well inside the Sonoma/Napa Vineyard that Nancy operates. If she speaks out, the INS will raid her workforce, she will be audited and whatever other deep dark secrets that are in her past will come to light.

Why would she ruin a good thing?

8. Lets hope not.
While not introducing impeachment procedings is no longer nearly as important as it was before the election, it's still clearly a good idea - there are few things that would get Obama's term as president off to a worse start, or more clearly give the lie to his promises of bipartisanship and a new brand of politics.

14. Nonsense - Pelosi has demonstrated extreme courage resisting pressure to destroy the Democrats.
The popular thing with Pelosi's base would have been to launch impeachment procedings. Giving in to that pressure would not have required courage; resisting it has. Pelosi's reputation and future career have been severely tarnished, but thanks to her resistance Obama will be the next president, which would almost certainly not be the case if she'd given in to the pressure and launched inevitably-doomed impeachment procedings.

Sadly, children are never grateful to the adults who stop them eating too many sweets or swimming in shark-infested waters.

9. Pelosi sold us out. They offered her a seat at the trough & she took it.
I won't criticize Obama until he's actually in office & had some time to implement change, but I'm not holding my breath either. We don't have a two party system. We have a feudalistic system that's thinly disguised as a democracy.

12. No. She won't.
I wish her constituents had the courage to give up the speakership and evict her, in the primaries and the general election.
