Poll question: Which political/economic theory should be given a second chance?

Yesterday, I asked my fellow DUers to post which theory (economic or political) they believed should be given a second chance (the original thread is here).

There seemed to be more political and economic theories, I copied then pasted all of them here in poll form for you to vote on. If there is one you want to vote for that you don't see, you can post it in reply.

No link for such a theory exists on Wikip*dia, and DUer TheKentuckian posts that only a "rich white guy beta test" has ever been tried.

1. Some of these are not mutually exclusive.

Democracy is a form of government. Most of the other options you list are economic models. You can have any of those economic models with a democracy, or a republican democracy, or a theocracy, or a dictatorship, or any other form of government.

Marxism didn't work so well under totalitarian dictatorships, but that doesn't mean it might not work under a democracy.

Democratic socialism (socialism with democracy) is working very well in many parts of the world.

3. Marxism won't work for the same reason as true free market capitalism wont work

People are naturally greedy animals and rather look out for number one. Marxism, Communism, Socialism all would work amazingly well if people would forgo the need to have "more" than the next guy. They won't work just like we can never have a true free market society because people will abuse it to oblivion (which has happened time and time again). Sad thing to say, but the truth hurts :/
