Called him on saying that those who want to set a date on withdrawing troops from Iraq were aiding and abetting the enemy. Asked him if 59% of the American poplulation were aiding and abetting the enemy since that's the number of people who want the troops out of Iraq by the end of 2008. Good stuff. 12. She only mentioned two of his aides were convicted in dealing with Abramoff. **AND**...

She left DeLay off the hook a little.

She said he was indicted and resigned from office in light of campaign finance laws and that the House Ethics Committee reprimanded him a few times. DeLay responded he disagreed with that. She asked him what part. He replied he was never convicted (which is NOT what Meredith said) and that the House Ethics Committee never found he had done wrong.

She let that statement slide!!



But, what gets me is why is this indicted criminal being paraded all over the M$M!??! He was on Meet The Press yesterday looking like a complete and utter fucking moran for trying to defend The Surge. He was a giant ridiculous talking point and hardly anyone was calling him on it. I know he's pushing a book which must be being published with some funding from NBC or something....
