Please go here & watch Fox News being Fair & Unbalanced
I think there is another post on this somewhere, but I can't find it, duh. Anyway, this is a "must see" video. (I don't know how to post a You Tube video, another duh.)

1. Faux News: The Kremlin was a better source of news during the Cold War
than Faux is today.

Propaganda.

The heavy Kool-Aid drinkers will buy into it like they always have, but I think the rest of America is waking up and seeing the light. The daily barrage of new GOP scandals out of Washington is shining a really bright light on the situation.

And we know cockroaches don't like bright light.

2. I was about to say. They should just drop all pretenses and
go ahead and name it "Pravda" or "Der Angriff" (Goebbel's newspaper). :eyes:

3. It's like a bulletin from another planet.
It's hard to even tell what they are talking about. Their comments seem not to relate to reality.

4. The commies are coming! Buy more guns!
Me? I'll be in my foxhole, waiting for Hilary and Barack to come and force me into a gay marriage with a godless abortionist. Don't worry, folks: I'll be fighting back the impending hordes of illegals from deep within my bunker, and counting on Fox news to keep me updated.

5. That poor Pat guy, towards the end...he obviously didn't get to review the script
He tried to say the "far left" didn't matter, nor did the "far right." Wall St. was more concerned about the sub-prime market. But hostess to the rescue! She still managed to turn it around into the "policies of the far left" that could make it worse. That truly was disgusting.

It really bothered me the other night, btw, when Bill Maher said the democrats were pussies for not debating on Fox News. Even after acknowledging they are just a propaganda arm of the Republican Party, he still said that the way to fight them is to stand up to them. In Bill mind, standing up to them apparently means giving in to them and affording them some credibility.

Someone needs to pull the plug on Fox. I cannot believe how many people still think that "network" does real news.

8. Stand up to them but don't do it where they can't cut your mic or
cut to a shot of Brit Hume sneering in disgust. You need a level playing field. Would Hannity or O'Rielly go on Democracy Now and debate? Of course not because they'd get their ass handed to them if they couldn't shout down their opposition.

9. Another DUers mentioned the possibility of Fox's taping the preparations...
...and using the out-takes as "news" to use against the dems. I see that as a very real possibility. Can you imagine if Obama or Edwards, thinking he is speaking candidly to his staff, says something Fox can make hay out of? That footage will become the news, and the debate will become secondary.

I think Maher is just flat-out wrong on this one. By refusing to play Fox's game, it puts the spotlight on WHY Fox is considered "propaganda" and not news.

11. See - I can see both sides of that argument.
You take someone like some DLC hack or Lieberman who goes on Faux and makes the Dems look like wusses and you have a point.

But, then you take someone like Wes Clark who goes on Faux and makes Insannity and Orally look like the idiots they are, then it becomes another ball game.

6. If Fox Noise is still in existence when a Democrat is in office,
I would like to take note if they continue with their "fair and balance" reporting. :eyes:
