3. Yes, I have to wonder if they used immigration as an excuse...
to go after Lam. I remember hearing about her more in the context of immigration last year, and not in the context of Duke Cunningham. I have to wonder if Lou Dobbs was being manipulated to bring down wrath on her.

But that's an obvious conflict of interest, and it raises suspicion even higher.

5. And he signed it four months AFTER the investigation was launched
and about one month before he pleaded guilty. I guess he was hoping that Carol Lam would be canned and the investigation into his taking of bribes would just go away. This looks like a conspiracy to subvert the judicial process on the part of several people, some of whom had clear motives like Cunningham.
