7. Nothing "gun-grabber" about firearms prosecutions

I'm thinking that most gun owners or second-amendment-supporters are not opposed to prosecuting firearms cases. It's better to prosecute using the laws on the books than to ignore them and just pass more restrictive laws. At least this way, the odds are better that we're prosecuting real criminals, perhaps even reducing crime as a side-benefit.

New gun laws only restrict the law-abiding people. Criminals would tend to ignore them.
