I've told this story many times on DU, but apparently it bears repeating.

You've heard of the infamous Tom Tancredo? Well, I'm ever so lucky to have him as my Rep. :puke:

Most "liberals" here don't bother with him. Last year for the budget, I sent an email and received a reply that HE DIDN'T BELIEVE IN CUTTING MEDICAID! Does that surprise you as much as it surprised me??

Of course, he ended up voting for the cuts.

BUT THE POINT IS.... he was wavering, and if there had been THOUSANDS of us hammering him, instead of just a few of us diehards, and hounding his office, etc., he very probably would have voted against these cuts.

So, there you have it.

It's one little phone call. Really doesn't take much time.
