Upon the green light, we'll (1) circulate the below plan to the list of folks in Step 3 (and ask that you circulate it to Karl's shop), (2) confirm that Kelley is making the Senator/Bush political lead calls, and (3) get Battle making the calls to the USAs. Let us know.

Certainly the question that needs to be asked of Mr. Sampson is "What is Karl's shop?" Why was informing "Karl's shop" a "pre-execution necessity"?

It has been pointed out by one of the poster at TPMmuckraker that there is a gap in the e-mails provided between November 15 and December 4, the gap would be those e-mails generated between the WH/Miers/Rove's shop and the "green light" noted in the OP e-mail.

It would seem, at this point anyway, the document dump is less than complete and there should be further requests for e-mails generated in this missing time frame.
