If I were in 1 party and I wanted to create a rift among my opposition

I would consider making a controversial attack ad and then attributing it to one of my oppositon's factions just so I could see the sparks fly. Plus it has the extra added bonus of making the entire party appear Orwellian, and it makes Obama look unoriginal.

For that matter, could it be the work of an overzealous staff member for another dem hopeful?

I do not believe this is the work of anyone in Obama's camp. I believe it came from elsewhere, possibly from partisan opposition, and I think it was designed to do just what it is doing: divide the party.

Color me insane, but that's my theory and I am standing by it.

2. Let's say a candidate went to school in a different country
And that country had a majority religion that a great deal of your own country
is uneasy with.

If you were to portray that candidate as a brainwashed devotee of the religion and ascribe the "unearthed info" to another of your rivals, would that be an attack ad you would be interested in?

(with all apologies to Bob Ryan...Entourage joke for those who are scratching their heads)

4. I think it is Obama's camp that made the ad
and that knocks him out of my voting right now. I can not stand the negative attack ads the republican put out against the democrats I thought it was abcolutly horrible. And I think Obama's camp did this. I will admit that I would not have voted for Hillary because it is a wasted vote. There are too many men and people who believe all the swiftboating about her she does not stand a chance.

I was leaning to Edwards or Obama. But my whole family and extended family are disgusted with the ad. It makes us more and more likely to vote for Edwards. This is the second attack Obama's people have made on Hillary and I really think it stinks. You don't see Hillary attack ads about Obama or Edwards and Edwards has none against Obama or Hillary.

I think ALL THIS DARN NEGATIVE AD CRAP SHOULD STOP. Democrats always ruin themselves by infighting. And Obama had the squeaky clean image and it is beginning to be tarnished. If he did not have anything to do with the ad he should come out over and over and tell the people he does not approve of those ads. But if you see the one comment he made he made he had bush's smirk down pat.

It's one of the more annoying habits of being human.

7. Obama had NOTHING to do with that ad. If he did, he would say so.
He told Larry King last night that he had NOTHING to do with it. Look at Swiftboat types...repukes. NOT DEMOCRATS.

8. Agreed - Dems know that Dems don't think in "lockstep", which
was the point of the ad. It's ineffective for Dems, but makes sense to republics.
