Ninth Anniversary of Seattle WTO Protests: New Videos Released

Washington Attorney Paul Richmond today publicly released two videos he took exactly nine years ago at the protests against the WTO in Seattle. Both videos were taken early in the day outside of the Sheraton Hotel, long before any property damage by protesters and several hours before the situation exploded. The first video shows police using chemical agents to clear the street on one side of the hotel. The second shows police spraying chemical agent directly into the eyes of selected protesters.

Richmond subsequently successfully represented a number of protesters in lawsuits against the City.
