I think Couric got the new haircut
Edited on Tue Dec-02-08 09:44 PM by pnwmom
at the same time that she got her eyes "done." She just doesn't look like herself anymore.

It's a shame that female broadcasters still aren't allowed to age, as the men are.

This is how she looked fifteen years ago:

1. Yikes. That's a big step in the wrong direction.

I'm against hair dye. Bad for humans, bad for the water.

And plastic surgery? Ugh.

That second photo makes me think of My Favorite Martian.

4. She's still cute - the only thing I care about is her changed politics - she sold out.

10. You're right, but that was just a blip, but I don't get to listen to her that much. I am mostly
remembering NBC/GE and also, some of the threads about her right wing slant after landing at CBS.

9. Good for you, Katie. You look great. Don't listen to these jealous folks.
What in the world is wrong with trying to stay fit and looking good?

Check out the 2004 picture in the series. Katie has some nice traps and delts. You get them by working out regularly or playing tennis regularly--some type of exercise.

As far as selling out, I was really pissed when she did her I-love-Petraeus stint in Iraq, but she more than made up for it in the Palin interview. That interview alone showed a lot of Americans what a simpleton Palin is.

13. I really lke some of the changes, but the eyes have me a bit freaked out.
Maybe it was just too much of a change, IMO.

14. If she did it for herself, fine. If she did it because of the ageism the networks
direct at women -- but not on men -- in broadcasting, that's not fine.

11. The eyes look terrible. But it's worse women feel compelled to do this. nt

12. I hated that haircut from 15 years ago. Still do. She looks better with
it chin length.

Her new eyes look strange. They looked better before the last surgery which I guess she got right before she went to CBS.

16. I'm pro choice. It's her body, her choice. That said: the eyes look bad.
And I agree, it's a shame that women in media are pressured in ways men aren't.
