Rice and Mullen Making the India/Pakistan Rounds, Will They Help or Hurt?
Condi Rice and Admiral Mullen are meeting with heads of states and military leaders in India and Pakistan. India has said it will not rule out military strikes as a response to the Mumbai attacks. Pakistan refuses to hand over the 20 or so wanted 'terrorists' to India. Pakistan's Taliban sympathizers have also offered a truce with the Pakistani military to fight India, if needed.

The US State Dept has said it does not give a green light OR a red light to anyone. India is using language like "defend territorial integrity".

Is Condi Rice going to cool the tensions, exacerbate them, or have no effect?

Where is this heading? It is not looking good, so far. Saber rattling and escalating rhetoric is bad sign.

3. I thought she was playing piano somewhere
Saw her on the news Monday night entertaining some foreign dignitaries with her classical piano.

So maybe she is on a concert tour
