Almost looks like a different person there. What is it, the lighting?

4. That's what I thought when I first saw it - and it still doesn't look like her.

7. Yeah. If I had seen it alone somewhere I would not have instantly recognized her. Why didn't
they get a better shot with her lovely smile going full out?

16. She doesn't seem to "pose" very well.
Even in her wedding photo the pose creates a disingenuous in her face that isn't there in the more spontaneous or casual pictures.

I guess what I'm saying is she doesn't like manufactured poses and that she's not a good poker player.

2. Beautiful.
Michelle and the girls are just lovely, but their real beauty comes out through their eyes - the intelligence is apparent...

8. She's very pretty, and very photogenic.
She dresses beautifully, has great taste in clothes, and the clothes she wears look great on her. Very elegant.

What a refreshing departure from The Joker in her Lerner pant suits and poorly-fitting designer gowns.

10. Do you think she's photogenic? I suspect that she is much more lovely

than most of her pics show. She tucks her head sometimes, for one thing, and so her mouth and chin are shot at funny angles and sometimes, in shadow. She videos much better. imho.

I love her attention to the details of fashion, not only hers but the kids, too, and even sometimes, Obama's.

/oops

14. To me, that's her personality coming through in the photos.
It comes across as very natural and genuine.

I suspect she's much prettier in person, but there's a depth to her in photographs that not everyone has. Obama did good when he married her.
