staff testifying --

As for the MSM, I think that in the post-Libby world, there is more skittishness about missing out on the snowballing story than there is a desire to hang back. Just judging by how many cameras are camped out on Capitol Hill these days, which is always a good sign.

7. I wondered if Cheney's phlebitis was the shot across the bow for

his stepping down "for health reasons", setting up the Nixon scenario all over again; put in a moderate R that can't be impugned, like a Ford type....then the bricks fall on bush and out he goes.

The interesting part of this is that if bush gets impeached and convicted, and Cheney isn't gone, w/a
17% approval rating Cheney couldn't take a dump w/o being spat upon....:D

If they both go, Pelosi becomes president....:)
