Sometimes I walk away from the Democratic Underground because I believe that not enough risks are being taken. Now one might say, what is a risk? Passion is a risk, don't be afraid of it. Venom is a risk and it is a necessary one. Being funny is fine, but sometimes you've got to stop hiding behind rated G humor because this is not a rated G world. Democrats are a stormy breed, and the Democratic Underground is a place where tornadoes are allowed to touch down once in a while.
