"The Third Jihad"--could someone, preferably someone Muslim

tell me their impression of this film? A very progressive group I recently joined decided to show this film as presented, not with a warning about bias or fear-mongering, but it sounds to me like more propaganda. Anyone know? Thanks in advance.

1. Haven't watched it so I can't help there

I will say that "jihad" simply means "struggle", and that the Prophet said wars were the lesser jihad and should only happen when Muslims are denied the right to practice their faith, and only after all forms of mitigation have failed.

The Greater Jihad is the one a person has with themselves as they seek to be a better person.

3. Much like "Obsession"

"The Third Jihad" was timed to help McCain win the elections with the anti-Islamic vote, glad that it is over with and Obama won anyway. It was mentioned here at DU when 28 million DVDs of "Obsession" were distributed by the Republicans to voters in the swing states, "the Third Jihad" was scheduled for release for a week before the elections (I think) and it is anti-Islamic propaganda designed to help promote the "war on terror".

I do not think it is a typical movie that a progressive group would want to see, I think it would be much like them watching Rev Pat Robertson and Hagee for an hour or two.
