Tweety is the biggest sh--bag in the US
"Great to see the spontaneity and the verbiage from the President. I missed it." - words to that effect.

Fuck you, Tweety.

Using the word 'sincere' and The President in the same sentence.

with chimpy, they're all so down in the mouth and depressed. you'd only feel that way when it's your party swirling the toilet. if ANY of these talking heads were moderate in any way, they be thrilled at the prospect of a restored democracy, not "spontaneity and the verbiage" from a chimpanzee.

tweety: what the rest of us miss is America.

5. Hmmmm, don't be so quick to judge. He's not supporting this
as you think. He's already said that it's obvious this people were fired for political reasons, and that they suffered career damage because of the false statements that they were fired for poor performance. Then he said Gonso is going to hav eto go to congress and LIE to support their decision and their reasons!

Sometimes I'd like to smack Tweety between his beady little eyes, but tonight he did OK.

32. He was spinning quite a bit.
Maybe Gregory had a sympathetic response to Tweety's favorable casting of Bush.

The formula is so often employed it's staggering: when Repubs dig in they are tough and sincere;

when Dems do it they are calculating/politically motivated and .

I thought Gregory's assertion that they were sincere was a stretch in view of how mendacious and willing to comment they have been thus far. I guess he was referencing their unitary presidency ideology, but why not be skeptical about their motives since many lies have already been told and they have been happy to comment on the record prior to the threat of subpoena?

Reminds me of when their first line of defense was that Rove & Scooter had nothing to do with PlameGate until Fitz started the grand jury and then as the lies unfolded they started the "ongoing investigation" mantra.

19. No he wasn't
Tweety was as in the bag for the war as anyone, despite occasional bleatings from his ovine mouth to the contrary (which admittedly puts him up on a lot of the cable dimwits, but that's a very low bar to clear). When the shock and awe was going on, and when Bush was strutting around on the flight deck of the Abraham Lincoln, Tweety couldn't get enough of that manly characteristic.

46. I think these news whores are looking at this as a sporting event
Just like boxing fans like to see a close, evenly matched fight with lots of ups and downs and back and forth drama, these jerk-offs want to see both sides duke it out to a climax. They'd feel extremely disappointed if Bush just gave in without a fight and without some juicy punditry over which to earn their six and seven figure salaries. They love the game of politics. I happen to absolutely hate it and wish things were going smoothly in the country, so that I wouldn't even tune in to those shows or even come on these message boards.
