5. CNN or M$NBC yesterday: "Chrsitians"......when referring to the atheist placard
next to the Nativity display.

Some people seriously need some grammar and spellcheck assistance.

I know I do but I'm not getting paid to type the crawl lines on any major "news" networks either.

14. It's terrible now
I don't mind the once in awhile mistake or flub but it's happening all the bloody time now. Yesterday or the day before I was reading an article on abcnews.com, a real article not a blog post and just skimming found 3 spelling mistakes, 2 grammatical errors and one sentence completely out of context with the story.

I think news organizations have completely ditched the editorial process to be first to print on the web and it's pathetic. They need to have editors, the reporters are trying to get by with spell check and when they screw up once just add the screw up to dictionary so we can see it over and over again.

18. I was watching Countdown with KO the other night and they had a caption
"Can You Here Me Now?" for a story. It wasn't a pun, either (although they are known to make puns).

Meanwhile, I get read the riot act if anything I produce at work has a single typo in it.
