Hopefully the Downfall will
result in a new construct of our government and what America stands for.

Right now we are enduring what Our Faux Government and Way of Living has shown the world: Imperialism, greed, sloth, intolerance, ignorance and laziness.

Americans in Power never have enough. They always need more and they will lie, cheat and steal to get it.

Maybe it's time for a new paradigm. Will the "leaders" move it or will the rest of us revolt?

Now is the time, Mr. Obama to reject the corporate handshake.

Cut the freaking Pentagon budget in HALF and there is your money to start. To do the right thing.

Sincerely,
An American Citizen

3. I think this crash was the only thing that could have stopped the
insane earniungs the corp execs were getting. $30, 40, 100 + illion a year is insane! I can't imagin anything other than a severe crash like we're seeing that would have stopped it!

I have no problem with good execs making a lot of money, but it should be a % of their avg. employee's wages and their bonus should be based on profits. If their co. doens't make money, they shouldn't get a bonus! If the cimpany makes no manoey, the stockholders shouldn't get a dividend.

5. It's happened before
Anti-trust laws.
Ricco's laws.

The thieves have found ways around the laws ONLY with help from the law makers, we, supposedly ELECT. And they don't bite the hand that feeds their position, lifestyle and power. Americans seem so nonchalant about this. They don't care.

Historically Americans ACCEPT this with their representative because it brings in funding for the locality. I live in a rural area yet my Senator managed to swindle a ONE MILLION DOLLAR bio-hazard mobile truck to make me feel safe. Huh?

Cheatin' Lyin' THIEVES!!

6. You're right, but back in the 30's & 40's the same thing happened,
and the greed was squelthced. I thinkj it will happen today too.

I have been akskinf for a long tine, what can change the mentality that allows anyone to get mulitimillions per year? The only tyhing I could thinkj of was the stockholders, but that was't going to happenj. I sure didin't want to see the crash of the Ameriocan economy, but it believe the day of the multi-million dollar payout is gone.

8. Obama is not going to kill capitalism
What you are suggesting, even if it were possible would signal the end of the democratic party having a chance to win an election.
