Haynes Johnson book “Sleepwalking”
“When The Pentagon Was For Sale”—Andy Pasztor—(awesome list of criminals). Want Earmarks. Loaded
2 books titled “Scandals”
“The Clothes Lost The Emperor”-Paul Slansky (day by day chronology of 1980’s)
“Stealing From America”—
“Landslide”-Jane Mayer & Doyle McManus

Nathan Miller book states 233 were investigated
Haynes Johnson states 138 were --charged--indicted--found guilty -- investigated

p.s.—Newt and Gang spent $110,000,000-(GAO number) on Hearings and Investigations on Clinton

IMPORTANT---ONE for $110,000,000
and ONE—

(yes 1) person working for President Clinton was Found Guilty of a Felony. Evil man took few trips to ball games , etc. No quid pro quo per OIC –Pals doing what they had done for years—take pal to events. Pled guilty for did not have finances to fight the government and Smaltzsmear. His boss fought 37 such charges and was found not guilty on each charge.

138 charged is more than grand total since 1900.

I would appreciate anyone correcting what I write. I try to be honest but do make errors.

3. Compare to 8 year of Clinton with ONE(1) conviction, and that was a fine.
I think it was Louis Sisneros, and he notes it would have cost more for the flight back to the court to fight the fine, which he says he could have fought, than the fine itself cost, so he took the cost of the cheaper alternative, the fine. Saving the taxpayer the money.

4. Ronnie is dead. G.W.B. is alive
Not sure why you keep starting threads about Reagan; what's up with that?

Are you just chumming for anti-Reagan comments?

5. Why were Reagan and Bush's REAL CRIMES covered up throughout the 90s?
Edited on Mon Dec-08-08 10:44 AM by blm
Whitewater was a set up....a DOG AND PONY SHOW that covered up the real reason legal fixers wanted FULL ACCESS to all the Rose law firm files - to scrub Jackson Stephens' files - the same Jackson Stephens who curried the careers of both Poppy Bush and Bill Clinton.

Nice trade off for Clintons - they take a little RW heat and get the WH for two terms....and all the outstanding matters in IranContra, BCCI and CIA drugrunning get deep-sixed for Poppy Bush and all his powerful cronies.

GHWBush expected to be impeached after the release of the Dec 1992 BCCI report....gee....what happened? There were still so many outstanding matters involving the funding of global terror networks. And surely Clinton didn't pardon IranContra-BCCI figure Marc Rich FOR Poppy Bush, did he?

8. junior #1, Saint Gipper #2: we can argue about #3, GHWB imv, for he continued the Gipper's voodoo
economics which is the genesis to what is now happening, granted with a few embellishments added for lagniappe. :P
