1. NCLB was just another excuse for Bush's friends to legally profiteer

But instead of with another country (Iraq), they were doing it with the nations children. It is beyond me how people let them get away with this :(

3. I read somewhere he does want to fund it.

I differ much with Obama on public education. I believe he is supportive of charter schools, which is bringing the corporate world into the schools as a partner.

I need to find the quote where he says it should be funded.

NCLB need to be gone.

4. All those test results make for a great assessment data base.

Maybe he'll adjust the contingencies so that they aren't a hinderance but a help.

Or maybe his adminstration will come up with something better.
