I don't have time to research for the link to the opinion pieces, but you'll find a link somewhere over at Larry (ex-CIA) Johnson's website (something to do with "no quarter" in the URL). Johnson also devoted multiple daily blogs railing against Obama for the better part of 18 months.

I don't think Plame would take the call from Obama.

Incidentally, I tend to disagree with Wilson/Plame, but I would like to understand what their beef is. The op-eds certainly didn't explain it. Wilson's opposition was utterly inconsistent with his persona and I was struck at the time by how remarkable and inexplicata his very strong opinion was. The reader was left with the impression that information was being held back.

This chapter of intrigue is worth a follow-up.
