Can you believe these angry idiots?
Talk about sore losers:

""We're getting ready for the Communist takeover of America with a noncitizen at the helm - I love it," Savage said during an episode of his nationally syndicated radio show "Savage Nation."

"He won't even produce a birth certificate. Don't you love that?" he continued. "Something as basic as Obama's birth certificate now is an issue. I mean, if he's got nothing to hide, show it to me. Doesn't exist. It does not exist. They can't find it in the Hawaii government. It's never been produced. The one that was produced is a forgery."

Jerome Corsi, author of "The Obama Nation," has taken up the cause, promoting the story through articles on the right-wing Web site World Net Daily. Corsi, who also penned "Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry," was expelled from Kenya when he traveled during the campaign to investigate Obama's birth and also touts "deep secret ties between Obama" and Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga."

3. In 1948 I was born at home
I never got a birth certificate until the summer of '67. One of my brothers didn't get his birth certificate until about 10 years ago when he went to draw SS.

25. I got a great grandfather who was born on two different days in
two different years.

Last year I was heavily into doing some genealogy. My dad's side was relatively easy...my mom's...eeeewwww..what a rat's nest of intrigue.

when I went to look for a great grandfather, I found records stating that he was born on two different days in two different years. These are census records...so I write to the state of Vermont where he was born and they can't find any record of his birth. At all. The nice people up in Vermont explained to me that it could mean he was born at home (and probably was), which is why there's no readily available record.

I have his armed services information, and it matches what one of the census records says, but who knows if that's even right, as young men often added to, or subtracted from, their ages in order to serve in or avoid the army.

So I'm thinking, geez...according to those brainless assclowns out there, my great g.father didn't even exist, and probably neither do I.

All I can say to the assholes is Barack Obama will be their rightfully elected President whether they want him or not. I didn't want junior and he wasn't rightfully elected but I had to take him anyway. So suck up :puke:s I'm coming to get your happy and take it away hopefully for eight long ass years.

I love our new President as you can tell.:-)

30. My grandmother had two birthdays a year.
The family kept track of their own birth records. When it was time to submit records to the state, they switched her date of birth with that of a cousin. Nobody knew about it for years. By the time she needed a birth certificate, it was too late to fix, so she celebrated both birthdays.

Why the stories about Obama's birth certificate will never die

Barack Obama was, without question, born in the U.S., and he is eligible to be president, but experts on conspiracy theories say that won't ever matter to those who believe otherwise.

By Alex Koppelman

Dec. 5, 2008 | Barack Obama can't be president: He wasn't really born in Hawaii, and the certification of live birth his campaign released is a forgery. He was born in Kenya. Or maybe Indonesia. Or, wait, maybe he was born in Hawaii -- but that doesn't matter, since he was also a British citizen at birth because of his father, and you can't be a "natural-born citizen" in that case. (But then, maybe his "father" wasn't really his father; maybe his real dad was an obscure communist poet. Or Malcolm X.)

You might think these rumors would have died off after Obama produced proof in June that he was, in fact, born in Hawaii to an American citizen, his mother, Ann, or after Hawaii state officials confirmed in October that he was born there. You might think the rumors would have died off after he was elected by a comfortable margin. Instead, they've intensified. There have been paid advertisements in the Chicago Tribune questioning the president-elect's birth certificate and eligibility, and one group is raising money to run a similar ad on television. The right-wing Web site WorldNetDaily has been reporting on the issue almost nonstop. Numerous plaintiffs have filed lawsuits in various states. And Friday, the Supreme Court's nine justices will decide whether they want to hear one of those suits, which also contends that John McCain, born in the former Panama Canal Zone, does not meet the Constitution's requirements to hold the presidency.

<snip>
If the long-form birth certificate were released, with its unequivocal identification of Hawaii as Obama's place of birth, the cycle would almost certainly continue. Rush Limbaugh already suggested that Obama's trip to Hawaii to see his ailing grandmother, who died not long after, was somehow connected to the controversy. Others, like Michael Savage, followed Limbaugh's lead, saying Obama was going to Hawaii to alter the record.

Edited on Tue Dec-09-08 08:51 AM by aphopkin
Then we can look at the birth certificates that they provide and scoff and say - no, this is a fake.

How can you prove where you were born if the documents that prove where you were born are labeled *fake*?

12. What revolting characters
'Communist takeover'????

What is WRONG with Savage anyway? He's worse than a Daily Mail writer, and that's saying a lot.

I once read about someone who nearly didn't get into law school in America in the late 19th century, because he couldn't produce his birth certificiate and vaccination certificate. He rolled up his sleeve and showed his vaccination scar, and then said, "Now look at me and observe that I am born!" They decided to let him in, and he later became a Supreme Court Justice! (I think it might have been Brandeis, but don't have the info to hand.) I wonder if the next thing the right will be saying is that Obama wasn't born! It would be much more convenient for the far right if he hadn't been, after all.

13. The same scumbags that never asked for
Bush's* DD-214 or equivalent discharge papers that would end the controversy of whether or not he actually served in the Air National Guard. Since THOSE papers have never been made public, the only conclusion one can draw is that they don't exist and Bush* is a deserter.

Obama's birth certificate has been shown many times. Just because they don't like it doesn't make it invalid--sore losers.

and his transition team.

Eight in 10 (79%) ain't bad.

Mr. Savage seems to be whining and howling to a shrinking audience.

17. I understand the logic of why politicians let this shit go on.
Because although it is hard as fuck to prove legally this is blatant libel as is much RW hate radio. They lie and defame as a schtick and technically they should be sued for very large numbers for doing so.

Public figures are pretty much fair game for anything but you still can't outright lie and incite your audience to anger and agitation under false pretenses (yelling fire in a crowded theater)and yet Savage and Limbaugh et al do it daily. I just wish more people would pursue libel cases. I think if the courts were suddenly flooded with suits against these assholes they would eventually rule that it is libel just to make an example.

18. Their issue - racism
I'm sorry, I've tried to keep it to myself.. but I really do think their obsession with this comes from their racism, and that's part of why they'll NEVER let it go.

Maybe I'm just crazy.. maybe I'm all alone in this.. but I believe this is just the expression of their desperate racism.

23. Agreed. They would never question McCain's birth
in Panama. First, obviously, because he was a Republican. However, if Barack had been white, and born in Hawaii, we probably wouldn't be going down this road.
