so I knew that he couldn't have pushed the idea with Blago much, if at all. Probably if Blago suggested he get something in return, then Obama was done with it.

(I just looked it up, the official announcement about Jarrett being an advisor to Obama was on 11/15, nearly a month ago now.)

Obama was a State Senator in Illinois while Blago was Gov. So why wouldn't they meet and shake hands on occasion? It happens all the time in all 50 states.

If you look down on page 8 of the Blagojevich indictment, it seems he wasn't happy with Obama since he wasn't willing to play ball.

In a conversation with Harris on November 11, the charges state, Blagojevich said he knew that the President-elect wanted Senate Candidate 1 for the open seat but "they're not willing to give me anything except appreciation. them."

"Harris" is John Harris, Blagojevich's chief of staff, who was also arrested this morning.

We're trying to confirm the identity of "Senate Candidate 1". It appears to be Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett.

I have confidence that a President Obama is squeaky clean and won't take any bull from any of the :puke:. Hes already shown me that he isn't afraid of saying now hold on a minute and then proceed to correct whatever the other person is trying to insinuate.
