How long before the wingnuts try to tie Obama to Blagojevich?
My stopwatch is running and I'm waiting for some insane right winger to come out and claim that Obama and Blagojevich are part of a huge Dem/Commie conspiracy.

I've had it with wingnuts trying to tie Obama to everything from not being a U.S. citizen, to having ancestors who killed Jesus.

And I'm also through with being passive when every imaginable slur is thrown at Obama. My present position is to get in the face of anyone and everyone who tries to discredit Obama, or question his legitimacy.

After eight years of a criminal administration, I'm through listening to lies and bullshit about Obama from those who supported BushCo beyond any sense of rationality, decency, or sanity.

14. Yep....Mike Issikoff was just working hard to tie them together ...
he was salivating about how "corrupt Chicago politics are" and that this all ties in with Resko's support for Obama.

I wondered how long it would take them. Especially Mikie "Blue Dress."

4. How are they going to do that when they have this on tape:
"Blagojevich said he knew that the President-elect wanted Senate Candidate 1 for the open seat but 'they're not willing to give me anything except appreciation. {Expletive} them.' "

12. Try doing what I do. Get in their miserable faces and
bludgeon them with reality.

At present, I'm so pissed over wingnut attempts to discredit Obama, I'm willing to speak out as strongly as possible, even at the risk of getting a broken nose.

As a woman, you probably are risking no more than lost friendships for speaking out. But are those attacking Obama really friends you want to have?

17. It is insane,..but you are right..we can not let them get away with
trying to discredit Obama because of gov.

It will tie this congress up in knots, and the things that need to be done will be blown to the wind. The people we have to get into the face of is our elected officials..so they will not be turned inside out by the hell hounds of talk radio and fox.

But first I must say this, if this is true, and it looks to be.. I hope they send that guy straight to prison with no look back.

15. Off Topic but Kudlow was pushing hard for Obama's Stimulus to focus on Military
Building. New bases and hardware...blah, blah. Then I see William Kristol in the NYT's urging Obama's Big Spending Package to go for the Military instead of Schools and Roads.

Coordination.... They still get their Marching Orders from Heritage, AEI, AIPAC and the other usual backers.

Blagojevich indictment-Obama Wouldn't Play Ball
Obama Wouldn't Play Ball

"If you look down on page 8 of the Blagojevich indictment, it seems he wasn't happy with Obama since he wasn't willing to play ball.

In a conversation with Harris on November 11, the charges state, Blagojevich said he knew that the President-elect wanted Senate Candidate 1 for the open seat but "they're not willing to give me anything except appreciation. (Expletive])them."

"Harris" is John Harris, Blagojevich's chief of staff, who was also arrested this morning.

We're trying to confirm the identity of "Senate Candidate 1". It appears to be Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett."

13. They both have "connections" with Rezko. But if Obama were at all
culpable, the Bush Justice Department would have seen to his indictment long ago.

GOP Ties Obama To Blagojevich Arrest

By Greg Sargent - December 9, 2008, 12:31PM

The GOP is wasting no time trying to tie Obama to the news of Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich's arrest on charges of conspiring to sell Obama's Senate seat.

The Republican National Committee blasted out an email highlighting Obama's ties to the Governor, noting that Obama advised Blagojevich on his gubernatorial run and highlighting an August 2006 quote from Obama:

"We've got a governor in Rod Blagojevich who has delivered consistently on behalf of the people of Illinois."

That isn't much at all. Though Obama senior adviser Valerie Jarrett is in the midst of the case as the candidate Obama reportedly wanted for the Senate seat, there's no suggestion of any wrongdoing on her part. Still, Republicans are already trying to use Obama's association with the Governor to associate Obama with corrupt Chicago politics and tar his reformist image, and Obama will almost certainly have to address this himself today.
