As I had to work this morning and was also listening to most of his opening statement that was replayed until C-Span just cut away, and he is so very dedicated and sincere on this issue that I truly do hope to see progress on this from Congress... but considering I saw Dingell falling asleep while he was talking, I wonder about that. I am going to write something up after I get to watch his entire testimony, but one remark he made said it all to those in that chamber, the media, those who do use this crisis as a political football, and those who also don't really want to discuss this based on its urgency but only use it to yell "run al run" instead of being part of the solution, that it is time to stop playing arond with this. If you personally are not dedicated and informed enough to understand what has to happen now in order to keep those scientific reports from coming true, you need to then spend more time arming yourself with knowledge than cheerleading.
