Joe the "plumber"... John made him feel all "dirty"
Politico reports that Joe Wurzelbacher isn't a huge fan of the man who made him famous. He told conservative radio host Glenn Beck that he felt "dirty" after "being on the campaign trail and seeing some of the things that take place."

"I honestly felt even more dirty after I had been on the campaign trail and seen some things that take place. It was scary, man," Wurzelbacher said. He told Beck he asked McCain "some pretty direct questions" about the bailout, and wasn't pleased with the response. "They appalled me, absolutely. You know, I was angry. In fact, I wanted to get off the bus after I talked to him.

Asked why he didn't leave McCain's campaign if he was "appalled" by the candidate, Wurzelbacher said, "Honestly, because the thought of Barack Obama as president scares me even more."

10. Morning after regrets?
Poor "Joe" the "Plumber." When he wakes up from talking to Glenn Beck, I wonder how he's going to feel? Dirty might be the new clean.

11. Joe's trying to boost his 15 minutes and book sales
Edited on Thu Dec-11-08 11:48 AM by Mike Daniels
Willie Geist used JTP as one of his "News You Can't Use" stories on Morning Joe this morning and promptly mentioned (not in a flattering way) that JTP's book has a grand total of 140 (give or take) advance orders.

The implication (rightly) being that Joe is now willing to throw the man that gave him his 15 minutes under the bus in order to spike sales on his pathetic little tome.

I was scrolling through FR and a thread on this same topic actually had people calling for "Palin/The Plumber" in 2012. If it wasn't so damn sad it would be kind of funny.
